Real estate attorneys Jonathan Barg and Jonathan Singer, and trial attorney Cody Hoesly, have each been honored among Oregon’s top lawyers in 2025 by the prestigious Chambers and Partners USA Guide, “the gold standard” of law firm rankings according to The New York Times.

This marks the seventh consecutive year that Barg has been recognized as a top Oregon real estate attorney by Chambers and the third straight year that Singer has been honored, with Singer’s ranking advancing from the “Up and Coming” category to the “significant achievement” of being named as one of Oregon’s top 31 real estate lawyers.

Chambers recognized Barg “for his strong experience in mixed-use development work and for his expertise in financing and leasing,” noting as his strengths that he “is very even keeled and practical in his approach” and that he “is a bright and professional attorney and a pleasure to work with.”

Singer, according to Chambers, “is great to work with, extremely responsive and efficient,” and “understands client objectives and what it takes to get them across the finish line.” In addition, Chambers further noted Singer’s representation of “a range of clients including investors, developers and business owners in complex commercial real estate transactions.”

As a team, Barg Singer Hoesly was also ranked as one of Oregon’s top 10 real estate practices by Chambers in 2025, reporting that the “firm provides excellent turn-around times” and “often provides insights and observations about the local market trends and things to keep an eye on.”

In 2025, Hoesly was also individually honored as one of the top commercial litigators in Oregon for a second straight year, with Chambers noting his recognition for “expertise in complex commercial litigation, providing clients with advice on matters regarding commercial disputes, insurance coverage, consumer class actions, and breach of contract claims.” Among Hoesly’s strengths as reported by Chambers, he “is an excellent advocate and writer,” “is good at centering the bigger picture,” and “is responsive, insightful and a pleasure to work with.”
