• Represented insurance broker at trial on claims of breach of contract and negligence seeking $3 million for failing to procure appropriate insurance, as well as third-party claim for indemnification against wholesale broker. The case settled on favorable terms.

• Represented named plaintiff in class action against prominent products manufacturer for misrepresentations regarding the characteristics of the manufacturer’s products. The case settled on highly favorable terms.

• Represented shareholder in derivative suit against Fortune 500 company and its directors for breach of fiduciary duty related to sweetheart compensation package for retiring director. The case resolved on highly favorable terms.

• Represented named plaintiffs in several class actions involving fake discounts on consumer goods, achieving highly favorable settlements.

• Represented Fortune 200 oil company in $50 billion climate change case brought by Oregon’s most populous county. After our client moved to dismiss the claims against it, the county voluntarily dismissed the claims.

• Local counsel to Connecticut law firm in connection with representation of tenant with respect to dispute with landlord over 50,000-square foot industrial facility in Portland suburb.
