BARG SINGER HOESLY EXPANDS AND RECOMMITS TO DOWNTOWN PORTLAND WITH NEW LONG-TERM LEASE

As highlighted in a recent articles in the Portland Business Journal
and DJC Oregon, Barg Singer Hoesly is recommitting to downtown Portland through a long-term lease at the 1000 Broadway Building.

Starting June 18, 2026, Barg Singer Hoesly’s new office will be located at 1000 SW Broadway, Suite 900, Portland, Oregon 97205.

“Our firm has been downtown for more than three decades,” explained founding partner Jonathan Barg, whose firm has grown from three lawyers to five since its expansion into commercial litigation in 2023.

The firm’s site selection process arose out of space constraints in its existing offices stemming from its recent growth.  But ultimately, the firm’s search remained focused on Portland’s central core.

“We believe in downtown,” shared Jonathan Singer, a real estate attorney at the firm. “And we want to continue to be a part of a thriving ecosystem here.”

Ultimately, a move out of Portland was never seriously entertained as an option by the firm.

“When we learned about a great space that would enable us to continue our plans for measured growth—and that the space was located in the heart of Portland—we jumped at the opportunity,” according to Cody Hoesly, a commercial litigation attorney at the firm.

“We care about the city and want to be part of seeing it thrive. Real estate is about community. If we want to be in the business of serving Portland and investors, developers and businesses here in Portland, we need to commit to being in Portland. That means being downtown.” — Jonathan Singer, to the Portland Business Journal
