  • Representation of homeowners harmed by construction defects and real estate malpractice and fraud, seeking $1.4 million in damages, with homeowners recovering $1.1 million from the contractors and settling with the broker.

  • Representation of owners of manufactured dwelling parks in defense against statutory and common law claims brought by tenants seeking $500,000; achieved creative settlement involving the city-financed sale of one park to a non-profit, and other payments to the owners from the city, in exchange for dismissal of the lawsuit.

  • Representation of owner of farmland in dispute involving cloud on title arising from peculiar consulting agreement entered into by owner’s predecessor in interest.

  • Representation of co-owners of rental property in partition suit against recalcitrant co-owners who managed the property, resulting in negotiated sale of the property on favorable terms.

  • Representation of client who terminated purchase of commercial property in dispute with seller over propriety of termination, resulting in settlement on favorable terms without litigation.

  • Representation of homeowner whose husband forged her name on a mortgage, obtaining judgment striking the mortgage and vacating a prior judgment of foreclosure.
